The Urban and Community Forestry Council is designed to serve Oklahoma's urban residents by furthering the objectives of the Urban Forestry Assistance program. Ten to 15 committee members represent a cross-section of user groups and urban forestry professionals. The Council advises on the current program and its policies, as well as recommending new directions and opportunities.
