Oklahoma Forest Resource Assessment Survey

This Survey is being used as a tool to help Forestry Services determine what the critical forest issues are in Oklahoma.  There are three national themes to keep in mind while identifying forest issues throughout Oklahoma which are:

  • Conserve working forest lands (Manage working forest landscapes for multiple uses and values).
  • Protect forests from harm (Protect forests from catastrophic storms, flooding, insect and disease outbreak, invasive species, and wildfires).
  • Enhance public benefits from trees and forests (Air and water quality, soil conservation, biological diversity, carbon storage, forest products, forestry-related jobs, production of renewable energy, and wildlife).

Please be as detailed as possible when answering the following questions.  These questions are intended to help you think about the "bigger picture" from your personal viewpoint.  All input is sincerely appreciated.
