The 16th annual family festival hosted by the state of Oklahoma's first family includes attractions and activities as well as hands-on learning for children such as crafts and old-fashioned games. In addition, the popular event celebrates the history and heritage of Oklahoma with food, live entertainment and story-telling.
Location & Directions:
Septemberfest is held each year at the Oklahoma Governor's Mansion at 820 NE 23rd Street, a structure that is more than 80 years old. From the Broadway Extension (I-235), follow NE 23rd east to Lincoln. The State Capitol park is located between Phillips and Kelly on the south side of NE 23rd.
NE 23rd between Lincoln and Kelly is typically closed for the event, and parking is available at the State Capitol, the Oklahoma City-County Health Department and the lot west of Phillips Avenue.
