"Masters at Work" Woodturning Competition, FHC, Beavers Bend State Park

The "Masters at Work" Woodturning Competition & Exhibit begins with a 3-day turn-off from artist of different woodturning clubs. Artists arrive with a chunk of wood, their tools and let their creativity take over as they turn the wood into a beautiful work of art. A six week exhibit displaying the competition pieces as well as pieces from the represented clubs.

This year's woodturning competition coincides with an Art Retreat & Outdoor Painting Workshop: "Capturing Nature's Beauty," giving visitors and participants the chance to watch some serious lathe work in between brush strokes.
