Oklahoma Forestry Services operates the Albert Engstrom Forest Regeneration Center located in Goldsby to assist landowners in their afforestation and reforestation efforts. Our Regeneration Specialists produce conservation seedlings from genetically improved seed, engineered to thrive in Oklahoma's challenging climate and provide landowners with the latest in research information.

The State Forest Regeneration Program provides these seedlings to Oklahoma landowners at near cost to plant for afforestation, reforestation, erosion control, wildlife habitat improvement and other conservation purposes. The seedlings come in two forms - bare root and tube grown. Both are seedlings - meaning they range in size from 4 to 15 inches in height and averaging about 1/4 inch in diameter.
The ordering period for seedlings normally begins in mid September each year and seedlings are distributed January through March. To if you need further information on availability, please contact your nearest OFS Office, or the Forest Regeneration Center at 405-288-2385 or 800-517-3673, or email us.
