Assistance for Fire Departments

Oklahoma Forestry Services is pleased to assist the many fire departments in our state.  We provide:

• suppression assistance outside of our initial attack protection area with aircraft for water/retardant delivery, aerial support for ground crews and ground suppression assistance with our own wildland fire crews;

• leadership and command for emergency incidents; and

• assistance to fire departments through our Rural Fire Defense Program, grant opportunities, training, and technical assistance such as our online fire reporting system.
