Oklahoma City (January 11, 2010) On Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010, the first of four statewide town hall meetings to explore options for utilization and effective control of the Eastern Red Cedar is set to be held in Clinton at the Frisco Center 6:30-8:30 PM. The Frisco Center is located in the heart of Clinton at the corner of 4th Street and Frisco Avenue.
The four meetings will be sponsored by the Aromatic Cedar Association and will include expert panelists from state and federal government agencies who will attempt to outline the current challenges and potential opportunities for Oklahomans in dealing with this invasive species to include agri-business “cash crop” development and marketing. A portion of the program will be dedicated to audience Q&A with a key note delivered by state Rep. Richard Morrissette, District 92.
