Statewide Discussion: Areal rainfall across Oklahoma over the course of the weekend, and continuing this morning in eastern Oklahoma, has diminished fire danger across the state. Rain chances will continue into the first half of the week furthering reduced fire danger. Rainfall, improved soil moisture and warm temperatures will significantly boost seasonal green-up with increasing live fuel moisture and rapidly improving canopy cover in forests and woodlands.

No significant fire activity is anticipated in the near-term. We will temporarily suspend issuance of the Oklahoma Wildfire Situation Report until fire weather and/or fire occurrence warrants.
