Statewide Discussion:  The highest fire danger today will be seen in northern Oklahoma, in an area roughly north of US 412.  The relative humidity is expected to drop into the upper 20% range over most of this area.  Forecast winds are northeasterly at 5-10 mph with higher gusts.  Wildland fuels in this area are fully cured or in the latter stages of transition to fully cured.  As a result nearly all wildland fuels are available to burn.  The highest fire danger in this area will be where the wind and terrain align.  Expect any fire that starts this afternoon to burn intensely with moderate to rapid rates of spread.
