Statewide Discussion:

Cool temperatures, rainfall and high relative humidity readings minimized fire danger across the majority of the state yesterday. Fire danger today will be highest in far northwest Oklahoma and the Panhandle where clear skies will allow for drying of fine fuels. While wildfires will be possible in this area, fire control will not be problematic due to calm winds and moderate relative humidity readings.

Remember… ONLY YOU can prevent wildfires! Enjoy Oklahoma’s wildlands responsibly.

Report any suspicious wildland fire activity on the Arson Tip Line: 1-866-662-7766 (1-866-NO ARSON).
