Statewide Discussion:
No fire control issues are anticipated in Oklahoma today.Near carbon copy conditions experienced yesterday will prevail today. Fuels will continue to dry with the pleasant afternoon weather, however live herbaceous moistures should retard active fire growth in most areas.

Afternoon temperatures are forecast to slightly rise through the weekend with highs in the mid to upper 80°’s, afternoon relative humidity values in the mid to upper 30% range, and moderated winds generally SSE will promote continued drying over the weekend, however moderated fire danger will prevail.

Remember… ONLY YOU can prevent wildfires! Enjoy Oklahoma’s wildlands responsibly.

Report any suspicious wildland fire activity on the Arson Tip Line: 1-866-662-7766 (1-866-NO ARSON).
