Statewide Discussion:
Recent rainfall has improved herbaceous fuel moistures and weather conditions today will suppress fire danger across Oklahoma. Afternoon relative humidity values bottoming out between 46-52% will limit fine-dead fuel availability for active combustion and chances for scattered light rain showers welling up from the south primarily in southern and eastern Oklahoma will further reduce fire potential. Temperatures today will top out between the mid-70’s to mid-80’s with winds variable along a weak line of disturbance.

Remember… ONLY YOU can prevent wildfires! Enjoy Oklahoma’s wildlands responsibly.

Report any suspicious wildland fire activity on the Arson Tip Line: 1-866-662-7766 (1-866-NO ARSON).
