Statewide Discussion:
No fire control issues are anticipated in Oklahoma today. Warm and breezy conditions will prevail today, however higher humidity and a boost in herbaceous fuel moisture will limit fire spread potential today.

A cold front pushing into the Panhandle tomorrow that will work across the state through Thursday will provide a sharp drop in temperatures and another round rainfall chances. Fire danger through the remainder of the week is anticipated to be minimal dependent upon rain amounts and coverage.

Remember… ONLY YOU can prevent wildfires! Enjoy Oklahoma’s wildlands responsibly.

Report any suspicious wildland fire activity on the Arson Tip Line: 1-866-662-7766 (1-866-NO ARSON).
