Statewide Discussion: No reports of unusual fire activity or requests for State assistance were received yesterday.
The highest fire danger today will be west of a line from Osage County to Cotton County. In and near this area relative humidity is expected to drop into the 20-25% range with temperatures in the 80s. Generally north winds are expected to remain light throughout the day. Any fire that starts in this area today in cured, continuous fuels has the potential to burn with moderate rates of spread. Highest spread rates will be seen where wind and terrain align.
