SE Area – 1 fire burned 6 acres (Cause: Incendiary)

Statewide Discussion:  No reports of unusual fire activity or requests for State assistance were received yesterday.

A cold front will cross Oklahoma today with very strong winds following the frontal passage.  North-northwest winds sustained from 25-35 with gusts near and above 50 mph are possible.  Fire danger will be mitigated by the high relative humidity readings which are expected to range from 40-50% this afternoon following the frontal passage.

SPECIAL NOTE TO THE PUBLIC:  Outdoor burning is not advised today due to very strong winds that will be experienced throughout the day.
