Statewide Discussion: No requests for State assistance or reports of unusual fire activity were received during the reporting period.

The highest fire danger today will be seen in the Oklahoma Panhandle. This afternoon the relative humidity is expected to drop into the single digit to mid-teens range with southwest winds sustained 10-15 mph with possible gusts near and above 20 mph. Temperatures are forecast to reach into the 80 degree range.

In the remainder of the state, fire danger will range from moderate to high. Relative humidity is expected to drop into the 30-40% range with winds from the southerly winds from 10-20 mph with higher gusts. Temperatures are forecast to reach into the 80 degree range. In continuous, fine dead fuels expect any fire that starts to burn intensely with moderate to rapid rates of spread.
