The 3-day rainfall accumulation shows approximately 1.5 inches or more of precipitation fell over much of Oklahoma. Some areas in south-central Oklahoma received in excess of 2.5 to 5.1 inches along with some isolated severe weather. It appears that a drying trend may begin in the Panhandle with scattered showers forecast for the remainder of the state this week.
Fire control problems are not expected anywhere in Oklahoma today.
SPECIAL NOTE TO THE PUBLIC: Please refer to http://www.forestry.ok.gov/burn-ban-information for current County Commissioner issued burn bans in your area.Remember… ONLY YOU can prevent wildfires! Enjoy Oklahoma’s wildlands responsibly.
