Statewide Discussion: No particular concerns regarding fire danger are expected through the week. A storm system moving into Oklahoma later today with precipitation chances ramping up into the evening hours along with wintry precipitation likely in northwestern and Panhandle Counties is set to improve composite fuel moisture values. As such, opportunity for wetting amounts seems likely for much of Oklahoma. A warming trend is expected to begin late week although no concerning fire danger development is expected.

An update to the Oklahoma Wildfire Situation Report may be merited later in the week based upon moisture effects on fuels and a clearer picture on the weather forecast.
