Statewide Discussion:  No reports of unusual fire activity or requests for State assistance were received yesterday.   

The highest fire danger today will be in Cimarron and Texas County.  Southwest winds are forecast to be sustained from 10-15 mph with gusts near 25 mph.  Relative humidity readings are expected to drop into the 10-15% range.  Any fire starting this afternoon in and near this area has the potential to burn intensely and exhibit moderate to rapid rates of spread.
