Statewide Discussion:

No significant fire control issues are anticipated.Cold and relatively dry conditions are expected for the first half of the week. Grass fuels in areas outside of the band of snow that fell on Friday are still susceptible to fire activity however relatively light winds and elevated afternoon humidity should temper fire behavior. As we approach the New Year holiday, precipitation chances begin to return to the forecast. Remember… ONLY YOU can prevent wildfires! Enjoy Oklahoma’s wildlands responsibly.

Report any suspicious wildland fire activity on the Arson Tip Line: 1-866-662-7766 (1-866-NO ARSON).
