Statewide Discussion: No reports of unusual fire activity or requests for State assistance were received during the reporting period. Fire danger will continue to increase over the next several days due to the current warming and drying trend. With today’s fire weather conditions, any fire starting in unshaded fine fuels will burn intensely with moderate rates of spread. The highest spread rates will occur where terrain and winds align.
