Statewide Discussion: Initial attack was light across Oklahoma during the reporting period. No requests for State assistance were received from outside of the Protection Area:

Fire danger today will be highest north of a rough line from Delaware County to Ellis County. Relative humidity is expected to drop to 20% and below in and near this area. Winds are forecast to be generally light from the east gusting up to 10 mph. The highest winds are forecast west of an Ellis County/Harper County line. West of this line a southeasterly wind is forecast from 10-15 mph with gusts near and above 20 mph. Temperatures are forecast to be in the upper 80s to low 90 degrees range. In areas that did not experience rainfall over the weekend any fire that starts today has the potential to burn very intensely with moderate to rapid rates of spread.
