Southerly winds are forecast to be sustained at 20-25 mph with gusts above 30 mph. The relative humidity is expected to drop into the middle teens with temperatures in the 45-50 degree range. In and near this area today any fire starting in cured, continuous fuels has the potential to burn very intensely with rapid rates of spread.
