Statewide Discussion: No reports of unusual fire activity or requests for State assistance were received during the reporting period. Moisture continues to fall in many areas of Oklahoma today. The duration of this rainfall event will allow for a favorable rise in wildland fuel moistures, especially the large diameter (100-hour and 1,000-hour time lag) fuels. In addition, green up in herbaceous and grassy fuels will help to reduce fire danger across the state.
No fire control problems are expected today.
No Burn Bans are currently in effect. For information concerning burn bans click on the following link:
Report any suspicious wildland fire activity on the Arson Tip Line: 1-866-662-7766 (1-866-NO ARSON).
