Camp Discover: Art of the Forest is a children's day camp for ages 9 - 11, with a fun-filled, educational experience, designated to familiarize children with the many facets of forestry.
Campers get to explore the multiple uses of the forest and the unique forest by-products through hands on activities, hikes and art projects such as "pine paintings", "mystical murals", basket weaving and nature prints. Campers will also learn about tree cookies and the stories they tell by examining a tree's growth rings.
Camp Tuition: $20 per camper; camp is limited to only 25 students. Scholarships are available to those who qualify. Applications can be picked up at the Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce, the Forest Heritage Center or printed off below.
