Statewide Discussion: Cooler temperatures and afternoon relative humidity at 35% or higher will limit fire potential ahead of the front that has entered Oklahoma. Widely scattered precipitation and hot temperatures will give way to much cooler and potentially much wetter conditions over the next few days. At this time the forecast includes statewide coverage of 0.5-1.0” of rain with some areas receiving in excess of 2.0”.
No fire control issues are anticipated today.
